My Mom's Cookies

Nobody can be told what's in these cookies and imagine what they taste like. NOBODY! I have witnessed this time and time again. They are fun to take to parties. It makes a whole lot of cookies. 64.

COTTAGE CHEESE COOKIES
Ingredients:
1 Large (24 oz) small cured cottage cheese
1 pound Margarine
3 Cups Flour

Directions:
MIX cottage cheese and margarine
ADD flour. Divide into 4 balls
REFRIGERATE overnight
ROLL out 1 of the 4 balls (leave other 3 in frig) into 18"x24" round circle
CUT into 16 pieces
ROLL large end first into a crescent shape.
BAKE 375 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes. Light Brown
COOL before icing cookies

ICING
Ingredients:
Powder sugar
Butter
Vanilla
Nuts
Directions:
Cream butter and powder sugar
Add vanilla and nuts
Spread on each baked crescent cookie.
